Job Description
Manages and leads the Outside Sales Representatives within assigned region. Reports to the Regional Sales and Operations Director. Works with the Regional Sales and Operations Director and other stakeholders in the planning and implementation of sales, training, marketing and product development programs specific to assigned region.
Primary Function
Leads, recruits, trains and motivates Outside Sales Representatives within assigned region.
Essential Functions:
* Manages and leads Sales Representatives.
* Responsible for the training & development of new and tenured Sales Representatives.
* Plan, develop, and implement strategies for training and development. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of training and development.
* Monitor, measure, and report on sales training, development and achievements within agreed upon formats and timelines.
* Hold Sales Representatives accountable to meet or exceed all defined metrics
* Be Subject Matter Experts in selling, including company programs, promotions, all aspects of the business. Teach and train Sales Representatives to be experts also
* Coordinate Customer Program Sales and Follow-up. TechNet Enrollments and Follow-up Checklists, MotoLogic, MotoRev, CTI/WTI Training, etc.
* Coordinate Sales Blitzes
* Help Sales Representatives choose most impactful customers to target as Focus Accounts
* Coordinate regularly with District Managers and Assistant District Managers, RSOD and RVP to ensure all organizational goals are aligned
* Develops relationships throughout the customer network, and with other departments, to achieve goals.
* Manages long-term relationships with customers and strategic business partners.
* Coordinates and communicates strategic planning, execution activities, customer and market information to internal stakeholders to achieve objectives.

* Prepares and submits accurate and timely sales reports.
* Recommends new products and markets, provide supporting sales, marketing and financial rationale.
* Manages activities, communicates performance results and coordinates with internal stakeholders through all multiple communication channels, including but not limited to the Salesforce CRM reporting tool, Web Calendar, Google Apps, Meeting Place and e-mail.
Required Skills
* 75% of work schedule is travel away from home office/store and up to 25% of work schedule will require overnight travel. Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate long-term customer relationships. Excellent negotiation skills.
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex subject matters in live group and individual training environments
* Able to conceptualize and implement sales plans and programs.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Regularly will have to exercise independent judgment.
* Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ability to work under deadline pressure and to prioritize work duties.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, procedures and work instructions. Ability to write clear and grammatically correct reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, vendors and customers of the organization.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment screening, where applicable
