Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Analyze vendor spend data from over 90 offices by using a combination of Tableau, Alteryx, and Excel to conduct opportunity analyses on industries and BCG vendor categories and subcategories
* Perform Contract and Supporting document input to the team's contracts management database
* Research for various RFP, RFQ and RFI requirements
* Run comprehensive screenings of anti-bribery and corruption vendors in high risk countries to address potential vendor risk
* Perform ongoing risk classification of vendors
* Report creation for distribution to Senior Management
* Creation of BCG style PowerPoint presentations for various procurement meetings
* Review procurement processes/practices for potential improvement
* Analyzing corporate card spend
* Conduct other ad hoc analyses as needed

* Self-starter, able to prioritize work and multi-task on different requests under tight timeframes
* Strong organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Proactive and creative; ability to evaluate options in multiple ways and come up with new solutions
* Ability to develop good working relationship with management

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

* Comfortable and resourceful in conducting research and analysis
* Proficient in PowerPoint and MS Excel with ability to design and maintain spreadsheets
* Some analytic skills (quantitative and qualitative)
* Must meet the Co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/universitys academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the Co-op program.
* Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op Program
* Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
* Must be physically located in the U.S. during Co-op
* Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours Monday-Friday
* BCG is currently allowing remote work situations in the U.S. due to COVID-19, however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe
* .Prior work, internship or Co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plus

YOU'LL WORK WITH

Co-op will work with all teams within Procurement.
