WHAT YOU'LL DO

This position will work with the NAMR Controller Analysis team to support multiple elements of reporting, analysis, and overall deliverable development. A significant aspect of the teams responsibilities is to support NAMR functions (senior finance leadership, Benefits, IT, AP, Travel, etc.) with value-added reporting and analysis, enabling successful decision making and leadership actions. For this position, that responsibility translates to multiple layers of support from regular projects like owning the forecast & tracking (e.g. live dashboard creation) of our US fringe benefits budget ($150M+), to owning and enhancing standard reporting on DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and Real Estate metrics to a broad range of key stakeholders.

This co-op position offers a great opportunity to experience, learn, and contribute to a regional finance team in a dynamic, demanding and fast-paced environment. This position will regularly learn more about the firms ecosystem as a whole, focusing on how various functions interact with our finance teams & systems in an effort to offer valuable insight and streamline processes. This co-op position offers a great opportunity to experience, learn and contribute across multiple functional areas at BCG, both within and outside of Finance.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

* Providing analysis with strong attention to detail: Among other things, you will prepare and distribute financial updates apprising management on the state DSO, as well as supporting the annual budget/forecasting process for critical elements of Fringe Benefits and Real Estate

* Problem-solving and identifying the most efficient route to a goal

* Customer service and collaborating with a wide variety of business partners

* Understanding the big picture, even when the work gets granular, requiring strong organizational skills an ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and carry them out independently

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

* Individual enrolled in a BS/BA in Business program (Finance preferred)

* Preferably a sophomore or above with strong academic performance

* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with Alteryx and Tableau a plus

* Flexible, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

* Prior work/co-op experience a plus

* Must have legal work authorization in the U.S

* Must be physically located in the U.S. during Co-op

* Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours Monday-Friday

* BCG is currently allowing remote work situations in the U.S. due to COVID, however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe
