Job Description

Manages AML and economic sanctions compliance testing efforts for the Company as they relate to moderately complex regulatory and policy requirements. Analyzes existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices, and helps businesses develop and implement procedures to meet these requirements. Validates control processes to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations via AML monitoring and testing. Assists business unit managers in response to reports issued by regulatory agencies or audit.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Business or Finance degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Financial Services, Audit or AML Compliance background and/or experience with financial services compliance and/or experience with the assigned products, services or business lines/areas and the pertaining laws, regulations and rules of relevant regulators preferred.

Preferred

Thorough knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations. Strong problem solving, analytical ability oral and written communication skills. The ability to handle stressful situations with internal clients and regulators, while maintaining a professional approach to problem solving. Ability to effectively deal with senior management as well as, Federal/State and other Regulators.
