The Marketing Department has an opening for a Digital Producer. This position is located in Pleasanton, California.

Position Purpose

The Web Producer will support internal business units to create and author content across all Albertson Companies websites. He or She must have prior experience authoring content for an enterprise website. He or she must be able to prioritize and work on multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently and must work well with your peer Web Producers within the web production team. The Web Producer must also work well with our marketing partners and other business partners.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Ensure our key user journeys always work as expected
* Author content on Albertsons Companies sites in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
* Crop and optimize images for use on the site
* Work with cross-functional groups to implement new features and updates
* Adhere to Albertson Companies design, accessibility, and production guidelines
* Actively QA the site to find typos, bugs and other areas to improve
* Guide and educate business partners to help them understand our processes and requirements
* Maintain and update authoring guide to provide detailed information on enhanced and newly created components
* Maintain other process information relating to our CMS

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
* 3+ year's experience crafting compelling content/experiences and digital media
* Strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail
* Proven digital publishing experience across the full content life-cycle -- plan, write/produce, release, test, optimize -- in a fast, iterative way
* Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager or other Content Management Systems is a plus
* Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Familiarity with W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v2.0 is a plus
* Basic SEO proficiency
* Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho.
