DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC) is an the integrated care division of DaVita Inc. working on DaVitas vision to provide integrated care to all ESRD patients, who are some of the most medically complex and vulnerable patient populations in the US. Our more than 600 dedicated nurses, care coordinators, nurse practitioners (NPs) and business professionals integrate and manage care for more than 20,000 patients with late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end stage renal disease (ESRD) across the US each month.

General Purpose of the Clinical Operations Supervisor

The Clinical Operations Supervisor accomplishes company objectives by supervising the daily operations of a team of Care Coordinators and Integrated Care Assistants in a designated market or geographical region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Clinical Operations Supervisor

1. Provide day-to-day supervision to the Care Coordinator Team - 45%

* Organize, monitor, evaluate, and manage workflow
* Provide work direction
* Conduct formal and ad hoc training

2. Provide leadership to direct reports and department - 45%

* Develop and foster a positive, fulfilling work environment
* Manage all teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required
* Address teammate relations issues appropriately, and in a timely manner
* Facilitates teammate development (PDRs, coaching, mentoring, training); collaborates with direct reports to create professional development goals
* Knows, understands, and follows teammate guidelines, employment policies,
* and department or company procedures
* Knows and understands basic wage & hour laws, federal, state, and local laws and regulations
* Review and approve time for non-exempt direct reports
* Track overtime, attendance, and PTO

3. Attend and/or lead team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed as Clinical Operations Supervisor - 5%
4. Other duties as assigned - 5%

Education & Experience Requirements for the Clinical Operations Supervisor

* Minimum 2-4 years' supervisory experience REQUIRED
* Healthcare industry experience REQUIRED
* Experience with job coaching, performance management, corrective action REQUIRED
* High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills REQUIRED
* Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook REQUIRED
* Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement REQUIRED
