FULFILLMENT INVENTORY CLERK - 1st Shift

Job Description
We are seeking resumes for Fulfillment (Inventory Clerk) in the Atlanta, Georgia for 1st shift.
Principle Accountabilities:
Maintains accurate inventory levels (includes warehouse, production staging, returns)
Monitors material movement (ex FIFO, performs spot checks)
Performs cycle counts and other requested counts (follows written processes, counts bins / assigns counters, reconciles counts, provides proper documentation, enters accurate information into computer system)
Reconciles discrepancies following processes prior to adjustments (ex: pulling receipts, inventory history, warehouse check, production)
Provides supporting documentation for counts and adjustments
Performs physical inventories
Provides inventory reports – internal and external requests
Archives inventory files and follows record retention schedule
Processes damages
Enters inventory adjustments following processes
Pulls samples, if requested
Enters data transactions
Aids in product dispositions and processes destruction of materials applying proper documentation
Maintains inventory in product secure room
Communicates QC Hold needs
Maintain inventory levels on stock items
Enter purchase orders as needed for stock items
Send a weekly /monthly report to management, as directed
Responds to emails in a professional and timely manner
Must work in the other areas, as needed and work dictates.
Required to safely operate forklift and maintain applicable licensures.
Adheres to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Prior experience in inventory and systems
Must be able demonstrate basic math skills.
Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.
Could be asked to work off shift to support peak operations or perform special assignments
Ability to work in production environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a fulfillment environment.
Prior experience operating forklift.
Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Ability to work within a team, effectively communicating with members.
Able to work independently, set priorities, and delegate tasks, as needed.
Must be able to solve problems, independently.
