We are Multicloud SecDevOps, the Security Operations team helping to protect SAPs workloads running in public cloud today. Working closely with our peer teams in Multicloud Operations, we deliver, bringing the expertise needed to provide SAPs LoBs with cost-effective and secure-by-default cloud infrastructure, and continuously improving security monitoring and controls. We are transforming the way SAP does security in cloud, using the latest cloud security best practices and developing our own, in order to day-by-day provide a safer environment for our LoBs to operate in. How You Might Contribute

SAP MultiCloud is seeking a Security Operations Engineer for the SecDevOps team to help continuously improve SAPs public cloud security posture on Azure, GCP and AWS. Be part of a security-controls-as-code team to strengthen the security of our cloud landscapes. Weve made significant improvements in SAPs public cloud security posture but have a lot more on the roadmap!

The candidate we are searching for shall have a clear passion for security, in particular cloud security, and to be part of this transformation of security across multiple cloud providers for SAP were on a mission and looking for security experts who want to make a real material difference in making our cloud security top class. Maybe youve been waiting for an opportunity in a cloud security but not had the opportunity yet in your current role. Maybe youre a good security expert, but not yet familiar with public cloud environments. Maybe youre doing cloud work, but your real interest is in the security aspect only. If so, wed like to hear from you.

A Successful Candidate Should

* BS in related field with 2+ years of increasingly progressive experience (flexible)
* 1+ years of experience in an operations role such as security operations, support, etc.
* Understanding of DevOps, and ideally, DevSecOps principles
* Good knowledge of industry standard tools for the implementation of SecDevOps.
* Solid Understanding of Cloud providers and hands-on experience on one or more of AWS, Azure or GCP.
* Understanding of security controls/services in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
* Experience in IAM, secrets management, encryption technologies, OS security hardening, SaaS services hardening, and container security.
* Experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, and open-source security tools.
* Prior Experience in threat detection, security monitoring, log management, incident response, and/or digital forensics preferred, either in the cloud or data center environments
* Local and virtual candidates within the US will be considered
