Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Monitor the daily performance, operations, and maintenance of utility-scale renewable energy assets.
* Lead the transition from projects under construction to operating assets
* Querying, analyzing, and modeling operational data.
* Contribute to and lead internal projects focused on process improvement and automation.
* Assure performance and reliability of operating fleet to optimize long-term improvement of power generation.
* Measure fleet performance against established KPI metrics and compare actual to forecasted performance.
* Track and report on lost energy events caused by outages, curtailments, or other conditions.
* Identify performance shortfalls and determine potential causes.
* Ensure compliance with PPA, IA, NERC and other requirements impacting O&M.

Desired Skills and Expertice:

* A Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Math, Computer Science, or similar Engineering degree is required as a minimum.
* 4 years of working experience in solar operations.
* Working knowledge of solar data and performance metrics.
* Ability to present analysis and conclusions in a clear format that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong understanding of industry trends in production tools and processes.
* Able to work independently or as a member of a team to develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
* Familiarity with SCADA and IT infrastructure.
* Ability to work effectively with Microsoft software programs, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
