About the job:
Responsible for performing troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
Responsible for acheiving goals for the Diffusion module:
Promotes a safe work environment by maintaining technician training compliance
Actively engaged in Safety/Continuous improvement programs
Provide solutions to issues that affect tool stability
Supports production needs by maximizing equipment availability:
Perform equipment maintenance/repair and material processing/ provide support for disposition decisions. Follow escalation path to tool and process owners for complex problems that require engineering assistance
Provides support for parts procurement
Adapt schedule to daily priority needs and ensures minimum impact to production
Interacts with the manufacturing team to understand restricted paths to allow material movement
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing resources to optimize module productivity and performance:
Interact with daily module pass down meetings/discussions
Support 5S through Cleanroom Team activity
Works with engineering process and tool owners to improve training documentation, equipment and disposition procedures
Work with engineering team to identify cost reduction opportunities
Facilitates strong relationships between other technicians, manufacturing and engineering process and tool owners, driving IDL productivity improvements
Provides support for process development testing, ensuring that appropriate data is collected and that test material requiring engineering support are processed in a timely manner
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree in Electronics related field or equivalent military experience
- 2 years of technician experience working in semiconductor manufacturing
fabs

Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed
Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems
Exceptional attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong collaborative skills in team environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience on the following platforms preferred: TEL a303i-H/K, TEL Indy, AMAT RTP Centura, AMAT RTP Vantage, ASM Furnaces
