MuleSoft is looking for a highly skilled Sales Strategy Manager to join our growing Sales Operations team. He/she will primarily focus on MuleSofts planning automation tools and managing other Sales Operations projects on an as-needed basis. This role will work closely with the various teams in Field Operations to gather business requirements, evaluate potential tools, develop an automation strategy/roadmap, and execute against that roadmap. This position will require developing a deep and intimate understanding of the business and forging relationships with Sales Managers, Strategy, and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, independent thinker who is committed to continuous improvement and using software to increase collaboration, drive scale, and increase efficiencies. You should understand how software companies go-to-market and have experience implementing sales/planning tools. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, data-driven environment, and demonstrate a natural curiosity when digging into the numbers.

We work with Senior Leaders to understand sales productivity, develop strategic goals and targets, while aligning incentives and behaviors with the Companys growth objectives.
Your Impact:
Own MuleSofts planning automation tool and other tools in the broader Field Operations team. Work closely with the Field Operations to gather requirements and develop an automation strategy/framework/roadmap. Execute on that roadmap through meticulous planning, aligning stakeholders, and effective project management. During implementation, troubleshoot issues, develop and execute on a QA/QC plan and establish governance processes and procedures.
* Collaborate with other members of the Sales Operations team on headcount plans, alignment of sales territories, quota data and models.
* Develop and deliver monthly/quarterly dashboards and reports to sales leadership and sales strategy on key performance and commission earnings trends
* Drive additional sales operations projects evaluate tools, drive requirements, and implementation
Skills/Experience Required
* 6+ years of analytical experience, ideally in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, or related fields
* BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, Sciences)
Skills/Experience Preferred
* Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational skills
* MBA a plus
* Experience implementing tools, attention to detail, and know how to develop QA /cross-check all work
* Superb Anaplan/Excel skills: model building, use of advanced formulas and arrays, pivot tables, data manipulation, VBA
* Solid knowledge of queries and data/reporting tools including Tableau, SQL, Business Objects, etc.
* Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment where priorities change rapidly and require seamless pivoting to new projects.
