Basic Job Functions:
The SharePoint Developer will promote safety as our 1 priority. The Microsoft SharePoint Developer will focus on needs analysis, design, build and go-live in addition to support for a large Microsoft SharePoint environment. The preferred candidate should be considered an expert in Microsoft SharePoint, with a strong working knowledge of the product. The SharePoint developer will create and configure SharePoint websites, find solutions to enhance business activity and customize sites based on Nucor Tubular Products needs. In this role, youll need experience in converting processes into SharePoint workflows; interfacing with other teammates and following systems engineering life cycle best practices. Ability to work or travel on an as needed basis, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Design, development and implementation of new programs and applications.
* Continually follow up with and update existing software. This can include implementing small changes and software enhancements to completely redesigning a program.
* Review requests for new projects and recommend modifications for existing programs. While evaluating new projects or requests for enhancements, they must determine the project cost, timeline, goals and feasibility and then oversee the project through completion.
* Core Skills: Coding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript at minimum, Showing proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Demonstrating database management skills, Having SQL experience, Developing strong quantitative skills
* Continuous development of Web look Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Site and Branding on SharePoint platform.
* Use SharePoint Framework SPx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates.
* Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management
* Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, and PowerApps/Flow.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016.
* Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
* Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD.
* Strong knowledge of the .Net framework (C), IIS, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint site configuration.
* Strong project management skills.
* Must have expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs.
* Excellent knowledge around UI/UX

The Raw Materials segment produces direct reduced iron (DRI); processes ferrous and nonferrous metals; brokers ferrous and nonferrous metals, pig iron, DRI, and hot briquetted iron; supplies ferro-alloys; and processes ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal, as well as engages in the natural gas drilling operations. This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
