The Azure Vanguard Program is looking for a senior leader to be one of the founding members of the Vanguard team, and be a part of the creation, implementation and successful execution of this program. We require an innovative thinker, with a track record of driving change to align with the evolving needs of our largest and most significant customers as well as partnering with them to shape and disrupt markets through adoption and innovation of Microsoft technologies.
This role requires an individual with personal drive, a desire to roll up their sleeves and make things happen; a technical program manager with exceptional attention to detail who is highly resilient and thrives in a fast-paced and high-profile environment while addressing and solving large, complicated and challenging problems.
As the Principal Program Manager in the Azure Vanguard Program, you will be responsible for:
* Creating and owning the joint Microsoft and Vanguard Customer adoption and innovation strategy for specific Vanguard Customers
* Creating and owning of the E2E customer experience, by collaborating across Microsoft to programmatically unify the execution of engineering resources and deliverables including the engineering roadmap, drive adoption of our cloud offerings across C+AI, and create H2 and H3 technology innovations to support customer and market-based digital transformation
* Lead delivery execution for datacenter workflow and implementation working across Microsoft; network coordination and implementation working across Microsoft; ensuring engineering adherence to customer contract terms; coordination with UK sub and MCS delivery team, application development with in-region resources for new technologies; coordination with HPC and VMWare team for service delivery; and coordination of execution, delivery and blocker resolution across Microsoft
* Being the responsible owner for the success and outcomes of the Vanguard Customers, briefing senior executives on status of customer adoption, and effectively leading a v-team across C+AI engineering, Microsoft field and corporate organizations to help navigate and coordinate efforts across the company
* Recruiting, developing and leading a team and establishment of a team culture, operational models and personnel growth
