Description:
The Contracts Negotiator, Staff will be responsible for providing contract support to the various departments of Sikorskys commercial and international military helicopter business, part of the Global Commercial and International Military Systems and Services (GCMS) division of Sikorsky Aircraft, a Lockheed Martin Company.

The major job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support the deployment of Sikorsky contract policies across GCMS;
- Ensure compliance to Sikorskys Delegation of Authority;
- Provide guidance to the various functional departments within GCMS with respect to contract terms and conditions;
- Assist sales and program management with negotiating contracts (including direct negotiations with customers);
- Provide contract summaries to GCMS management as required;
- Assist the Commercial and International Business Office with the contract approval process;
- Ensure standard agreements comply with Sikorsky, RMS and Lockheed Martin policy;
- Revise standard agreements as required;
- Provide training to various functional departments within GCMS in contract terms and conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 10 years of professional experience in contract negotiation or a related field; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Desired Skills:
Successful candidate will be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects on tight time constraints in a fast-paced work environment. Candidate will work as part of business team and should have strong interpersonal, communication (written / verbal), analytical, and problem solving skills. Law Degree preferred but not required.
