Palestine Regional Medical Center
Under supervision of a licensed nurse or with delegated responsibility from licensed nurse, provides direct patient care to include taking vital signs, assisting ambulation of patients, repositioning patient, assisting with toiletry needs, etc. Documents appropriately. Reports unusual vital signs or skin breakdowns immediately. Communicates well with patients, family members, co-workers and physicians.
Job Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent required. Certification as Nurse's Aide in the state of Texas OR previous patient care experience preferred. Must obtain BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire, if not currently certified.
