MuleSofts Executive Engagement team sits within our Global Marketing department, and includes our Executive Briefing Center (EBC) team. EBCs are vital engagements that open the door to our MuleSoft Thought Leaders, Product Experts, and Industry Specialists to educate and inspire our customers on their integration journey.
Role Description
The role of the Associate Manager is to help craft and deliver amazing experiences for our customer engagements and internal audiences, fostering a strategic relationship with Account Teams & presenters to deliver amazing executive customer experiences. As part of the planning process, the Associate Manager will strategize with the Account Team, aligning customer goals and meeting objectives, selecting appropriate speakers and content, to ensure both Customer and MuleSoft intentions are achieved. This position requires strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills and the ability to communicate to and work with Executive Management, Sales Leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure the success of these meetings in this dynamic & fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the intake of MuleSoft EBC requests including review, prioritization, speaker alignment, and speaker prep as needed while serving as the main point of contact for Account Teams throughout the EBC planning cycle to keep the customer needs top of mind and ensure we are surfacing the right conversation at the right time
* Oversee and align resources for inbound Salesforce SIC requests, collaborate with SIC Strategists to include MuleSoft in key upcoming engagements, and surface upcoming SICs to Sales teams for proactive participation
* Identify joint MuleSoft and Tableau EBC opportunities and surface to Leadership, invite Salesforce Leadership for co-creation when applicable
* Partner with Field Marketing to drive engagement across regional, international SIC locations to ensure maximum exposure and program impact
* Support and execute enablement on key initiatives including program processes, EBC journeys, and content to ensure Speakers and Account Teams are educated on the latest and greatest for customer conversations
* Assist with process buildout and iteration that helps ensure success of ongoing MuleSoft EBC programs while supporting ancillary engagements as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent undergraduate degree preferred
* 3+ years of functional experience in sales meetings and/or executive briefings
* Direct-to-customer service experience preferred
* Ability to juggle multiple priorities and urgent deadlines simultaneously
* Self-starter with the ability to navigate a complex organization to drive projects from idea to execution fast
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment
* High energy, charismatic, innovative, and wildly creative - with the execution skills to make it all count
* Commitment to customer satisfaction & attention to detail
* General computer skills required with knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
