Responsible for the thorough execution of Corporate Regulatory WC Financial Call reporting processes in a deadline focused environment. Uses increasing expertise to manage the accurate completion of the team's assignments while developing the capabilities of teammates. Communicates reporting and compliance concerns to a variety of audiences, both internally and to external Regulatory agencies, including making presentations to senior management. Leads increasingly complex and innovative efforts to continuously improve processes to ensure work is performed in the fastest, most efficient means possible.
Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the accurate, timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements of the Corporate Regulatory WC Financial Calls Team, including but not limited to, WC Financial and Data calls, WC Involuntary Market reporting, and State Compliance Filings.
* Performs the most complex regulatory reporting activities using advanced technical knowledge.
* Reviews and approves work of other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Researches complex regulatory reporting issues and develops processes to address them, communicating appropriately to senior management.
* Establishes, documents and performs internal control procedures to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting. Trains others on regulatory systems and manages key interfaces and interdependencies.
* May make recommendations for enhancements to regulatory systems and associated processes, and participate in or lead their implementation
* Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifying and implementing improvements.
* Initiates and/or leads increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities that may span beyond the scope of own team`s responsibilities.
* Cultivates an environment focused on development by assigning projects to build teammates` strengths and sharing knowledge through training or reviewing their work.
