Steward's eICU Program connects its hospitals through innovative technology to provide a level of exceptional patient focused care. The eICU technology allows for ICU patient monitoring throughout the Steward system from a remote location. The eICU Program provides around-the-clock RN coverage and intensivist coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Job Description: This position is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the day-to-day administrative functions of the Steward eICU Program to include: management of Health Care Aide's (HCA's), eICU schedule creation, office planning, staff on-boarding, calendar management for leadership, management of the provider credentialing process, state licensing, office protocol, establishing standards for office operations and procedures, equipment and supply ordering and accounts payable and more.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the Steward eICU Program to include: onboarding, * Manages staffing to ensure appropriate coverage at all times, hires staff as necessary and coordinates scheduling. * Prepare PowerPoint Presentations for Program meetings. * Provide administrative support to senior leadership within the eICU Program to include: calendar management, booking travel, etc. * Manage the credentialing and state licensing process for all eICU providers. Communicate with providers, CVO, etc. to ensure that new hire credentialing and re-credentialing for providers runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
* Associates degree preferred or equivalent amount of education and experience. * Two to five years' experience within a supervisory role in a healthcare environment. * Excellent computer skills including familiarity with MS Office Suite. * Strong communication skills. * Strong interpersonal and telephone skills required. * Ability to analyze operational issues and solve them creatively.
