Job Description

JPMorgan Wholesale Payments is seeking a Finance and Business Management Analyst based in Plano, TX to be a key member of the team that supports the leadership teams from various Wholesale Payments products and identifies and executes on opportunities to grow revenue and reduce expense. This is a high exposure role with direct interaction with the Wholesale Payments, Business Bank, Commercial Bank and Corporate and Investment Banks senior management teams to help drive cross-LOB and cross-functional initiatives and programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with strong execution, influencing and partnership skills. This role will have significant opportunity to network across many different LOBs and functional groups.

Business Management Analyst responsibilities include and are not limited to:

* Collaborating with leadership across Wholesale Payments to find solutions to complex problems
* Influencing and shaping strategy and articulating insights to senior management
* Helping to solve problems and making recommendations for action; proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
* Analyzing operational and financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, summarize conclusions and implications of analysis
* Developing fact-based business case assessments to identify opportunities, inform investment decisions, ensure consistency of methodology and measure progress.
* Partnering with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Control, Compliance, Field Strategy and Human Resources to deliver on the strategic roadmap
* Driving an environment of risk management and controls; escalating to senior management when necessary

Qualifications

Successful candidates will be creative and critical thinkers who have both the quantitative skills to separate the signal from the noise and the communication skills to craft those insights into concise messages for leadership.

Skills required:

* Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field required, MBA preferred
* 1-2+ years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Strategy or other analytical client services role within the electronic payments sector strongly preferred
* Advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro)
* Meaningful experience with Tableau, and/or other business analytical tools a plus
* Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
* Ability to learn quickly, intellectual curiosity, and a hunger to grow and be challenged
* Grace under pressure and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
