Seasonal Operations Specialist - Claims

What you'll do...

Review and process client claims, following all policy, procedures, data retention, claim documentation and document capture procedures. Interview all appropriate parties gather information. Use all information gathered to determine payment approvals and denials, process reporting and claim data to assist in forecasting and policy and procedure enhancements. Work with many different software applications and processes. Serve as liaison with the client throughout the process to resolution.

* Reviews and gather claim details and documentation, via reports, phone interviews, multiple data points and robust documentation in order to determine validity of each claim for processing.
* Ability to manage high volume case load to meet service level agreements on a daily basis to gather important information to assist in claim resolution.
* Accurately complies and analyzes data related to claims information and notes to ensure consistency and uniformity with company policies.
* Work with all clients and associates using multiple communication methods, such as phone, e-mail, mail and instant messaging.
* Ability to partner with other cross-functional departments and areas to validate information.
* Monitor pending claims for needed information and coordinate with field associates and management to ensure claims are processed within the department service level agreement.
* Resolves field and client inquiries and consumer complaints.
* Actively provide support and feedback regarding department policies, processes, and guidelines.

What you'll bring to the team...

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:
* No previous work experience necessary.
* Experience with Windows operating systems with ability to multi-task in multiple applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Web applications via multiple monitors.
* Analytical and detail oriented with ability to complete repetitive tasks and remain focused while documenting case notes in an organized and comprehensive manner.
* Ability to work independently to problem solve, organize, and prioritize cases.
* Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and collaborate with multiple cross functional teams.
* Ability to use effective customer service techniques with clients who may be aggressive or under stress.
* Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and confidently on the telephone and email with excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to conduct interviews with clients and potential suspects, merchants and law enforcement.
