Your Responsibilities:
The Manager, Business Partnerships within the John Deere Small Ag Partnering team will develop and maintain strategic alliances with business partners to provide complete machine solutions for John Deere. In addition, they will:
Manage external partner relationships to support serialized complete goods that are provided direct from partners into the JD dealer channel. Ensure the effective integration of partnered products into John Deere processes.
Work to maintain the long-term health of partnered relationships and to maintain/improve product delivery, product quality, service parts, and cost. Assess the performance of partner deliverables and define improvement plans for identified gaps.
Negotiate long-term agreements and contracts with key partners.
Lead new projects with partners using scaled John Deere Product Delivery Process, maintain program tracking methods, conduct phase reviews, and ensure program objectives are met. Guide, motivate, and work collaboratively with business partners and with John Deere cross functional teams to ensure program success and on-schedule completion.
Participate in product portfolio development for in-organic solutions. Complete product partnering strategies to support Small AG Production Systems portfolio plans.

What Skills You Need:
2 or more years of successful negotiating experience
2 or more years project management experience
Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
2 or more years performing complex analysis of potential business opportunities
2 or more years of experience managing the performance of suppliers or partners
Understanding of financial statements, cash flow and key financial ratios
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience with Hay and Forage tools and the Dairy and Livestock Production System
Experience with John Deere Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
Management or leadership experience
Experience developing contracts
Product marketing and/or portfolio planning experience
Engineering background
Education:
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or Accounting/Finance discipline
