Production Labor / Probationary Training
Biglerville Corrugated Box plant, 136 E. York Street, Biglerville, PA is accepting online applications for production labor positions on second shift which runs 6 PM to 6 AM four consecutive days. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Operation is 24/7, candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced 12 hour shift schedule which rotates across weekends. Maximum lifting requirement is 50 lbs; ability to communicate and work well with others, willingness to cross train into other positions.
Production laborers perform a variety of activities during 60 day probationary period prior to being assigned a permanent position. As a new hire, training activities are associated with assisting operators and helpers of converting machinery including setup, operation, and cleanup. This position does require ability to accurately use and read measuring device. Ability to read, write and speak English. Also, compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Pre-Employment process includes all candidates successfully completing an operations test, drug screening and background/employment verification prior to their start date.
