As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBMs clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Federal Service Sector consulting practice is a trusted advisor to federal, state and local governments, partnering to meet challenges and responding quickly to citizen demands, business needs, new economic conditions, and changing legislative priorities and policies.

In this exciting role, you will support the IBM Federal zCloud program, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the zSecure suite of tools.
You will be responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) environment and zSecure suite of tools; including but not limited to zSecure Admin, zSecure Alert, zSecure Audit and zMFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
You will also be responsible for performing zSecure admin tasks in support of multiple zCloud clients, perform zSecure Audit scans of client environments, as well as configure and support zSecure Alerts; including connecting the alerts to the Federal IBM Security Operations Center (SOC) QRadar instance.
You will be part of a Security Operations team (SOC, Security Engineering and Compliance), working with both Client and IBM personnel to provide overall Security support within the IBM zCloud Mainframe environment.

* Job Duty 1 with 35% of time Support and Maintain zSecure suite of tools
* Job Duty 2 with 25% of time Provide user support through zSecure Adminstraiton tasks
* Job Duty 3 with 20% of time Execute and maintain security scans weekly and monthly and generate reports.
* Job Duty 4 with 10% of time Develop and maintain zSecure Suite comprehensive operating procedures
* Job Duty 5 with 10% of time Mentor Junior zSecure Adminstrators

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 2-4 years of experience with zSecure Suite of tools (including but not limited to zSecure Admin, zSecure Alert, zSecure zSecure Audit, Adapters and zMFA)
* Experience with zSecure Consul Auditing and Reporting Language (CARLa)
* Experience in vulnerability scanning and vulnerability management practices and tools within a zCloud environment
* Excellent ability to create and maintain formal documentation for systems administration, operations, and maintenance
* Excellent teamwork, written, oral communication, and formal documentation skills
* CISSP or Sec+ security certification required
* Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* 1-2 years of experience supporting Resource Access Control Facility (RACF).
* 1-2 years of experience using COBOL
* Understanding of Federal information security principles and controls as it relates to application systems and zOS systems
* Exposre to or experience with security and network incident response procedures
* Exposure to or experience with vulnerability scanning
* Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret
