Selected candidate will inspect various surface preparation and coating application on all metal substrate of Naval Aircraft Carriers and Submarines. Applicant will climb tall ladders, crawl tanks/bilges in confined spaces, inspect from Aerial Lifts, inspect areas extending over shoulders and working in adverse environment conditions for long periods of time.
Candidate must be detailed oriented, able to read associated paint data sheets, drawings/Inspection Reports and utilize basic math skills for field test results averaging (surface profile, Dry Film Thickness readings).
Assist with Quality Improvement Activities

Basic Qualifications
Valid Naval Basic Paint Inspector or National Association Corrosion Engineering (NACE) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
NBPI with 2 years minimal experience Preferred)
Previous (NACE/NBPI/CIP) Coatings inspection experience a definite plus
