Senior Competitor Analysis Engineer

Competitor Analysis Engineering at Micron Technology, Inc., is an integral part of Microns ground breaking Technology & Products Group. We are responsible for researching, organizing, and conducting reverse engineering projects in support of the development of next-generation semiconductor memory and storage technologies. Our new team member will be passionate about extracting critical competitive benchmarking data from the semiconductor industrys most sophisticated nonvolatile memory technologies! You will engage and collaborate with a diverse group of teams including Technology Development, Design, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Marketing, and Legal. This position will be based in Boise, ID.

Typical Activities and Responsibilities include

* Teardown and analysis of nonvolatile semiconductor memory and end-user electronics
* Semiconductor process technology evaluation and analysis
* 3DNAND architecture and design analysis
* Circuit reverse engineering and circuit analysis
* Analysis of electrical characterization and behavioral data
* Analysis of data and market intelligence for strategic benchmarking purposes
* Active participation in competitive benchmarking working groups

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry
* NAND process integration, design, or product engineering experience
* Fundamental understanding of semiconductor process integration and manufacturing
* Knowledge of mainstream storage and memory technologies such as NAND & DRAM
* Strong foundation in VLSI and CMOS logic

Education

* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
