Job Description

Associate contracts support position for Tysons, VA office. This position is responsible for assisting with set up and maintenance of contracts in Deltek Costpoint. Reviews contract set up forms for completion and accuracy in accordance with contract awards and modifications. Follows EY charge number schema rules and sets up simple to moderately complex contracts in Deltek Costpoint. Enters funding modifications, charge number period of performance and title updates, as well as other requested actions related to contract set up and modifications.

Responsibilities

* Reviews contract set up forms for completion and accuracy against contract awards and modifications

* Sets up contracts in Deltek Costpoint to include:

* Contract type

* Revenue recognition method

* Charge code schema

* Accurate value and funding per charge code

* Establishment of contract labor categories and rates

* Coordinates with other support personnel to set up employees access to established charge codes

* Ensures billing instructions and copy of contract are sent to assigned client biller

* Enters contract modifications in Deltek Costpoint

* Value and funding changes

* Period of performance changes

* Set up of newly exercised option years

* Completes requests to modify charge number titles, changes to user defined fields

* Sets up intercompany charge codes

* Monitors established charge numbers to ensure all necessary fields are complete

* Provide confirmation of de-obligations amounts for closeout of CLINS and contracts

* Provide weekly funding burn analysis report to Contracts and Finance teams

* Provide support for various data call requests from the Contracts and Program teams

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to build relationships with all levels of staff thru management

* Ability to adjust quickly and adapt to changing priorities

* Strong organizational skills

* Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

* Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, as well as the ability to learn new computer applications

* Proven customer service skills

Education & Training Requirements

* Bachelors degree

* Knowledge of government contract types

Experience

* 1-3 years experience in project set up in Deltek Costpoint or similar project accounting software

* Experience with Cognos reporting or other similar querying tools
