Responds to an emergency call, assesses the situation, obtains basic medical history and physical examination of the patient and proves emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to the patient and ascertain the extent of their injuries or illness. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient condition, status and arrival time. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited EMS training institution Current Oklahoma and National license is required Valid driver license Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of EMT experience
