Working alongside the Technical Architect and Database Architect, the Fullstack Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the Application Programming Interface (API) that serves as the business logic and data backend for hundreds of public-facing websites and other applications, collaborating with internal and external data and services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working with Technical Architect, turn business requirements into detailed design description (due diligence to the best strategy, performance, usability, reliability and scalability)
* Write source code, adapt existing components, and test the developed components as units creating test stubs and test data as necessary.
* Define and ensure compliance to standards and best practices for UI, Mid-Tier, data access and database development including change management, release management, & source code control
* Resolving bugs / issues found in all tiers of the application
* Deliver high quality development services to growing marketing needs.
* Provide feedback into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM.
* Document knowledge and best practices.
* Proactively gain a level of technical expertise through internally and externally available learning opportunities as applicable as well as self-study.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5 years of experience developing commercial grade, n-tier, multi-tenant applications in a SaaS environment.
* Experience designing and building J2EE and RIA architecture applications
* Experienced with SQL and stored procedures utilizing the Oracle database.
* Minimum 5 of experienced with the following applications, technologies, frameworks and tools:

Applications: Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, Eclipse

Technologies: Java, RESTful & SOAP Web Services, JSON, SQL

Frameworks: Expert level Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, HibernateThe ability to work across all layers of the application, from back-end databases through to the UI

* Experience with Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming Methodology utilizing Java language constructs.
* Extensive experience using multi-tier caching algorithms and framework, specially Ehcache
* Personal skill sets:
* Ability to work closely with teammates to tackle problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall development approach
* Adapt to and work optimal with a variety of engagements and in results-oriented situations.
* Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a collaborative environment.
* Strong consistency to a consistent delivery methodology and associated deliverable generation.
* Working experience with Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon API Gateway
* Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Content Management Systems.
* UI development with CSS3 HTML5 and Javascript libraries
* Basic data modeling experience
* Experience with Hibernate ORM tools
* Administration and debugging of Web servers, e.g. Apache is a plus.
* Experience working with Tools like : Maven, JUnit, Checkstyles, FindBugs, PMD, Selenium, etc
