Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Technician position located in the Corinth, MS facility. This Material Coordinator position will provide a detailed sequence schedule to operations that enables them to meet their customer required ship dates and insure assembly components are available on the production line to maintain an uninterrupted assembly process. Will be required to drive forklifts including: Stand Up, Sit Down, Large Lifts .

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Incumbents on this job serve as an integral part of the material flow and scheduling process. Primary responsibility is ensuring material is available to maintain an uninterrupted assembly process and the daily scheduling/sequencing of the master production schedule from the value stream Material Analyst.

Material procurement for Reclaim, Disassembly, and Assembly operations

Sequencing daily production schedules for Reclaim and Disassembly operations

Maintain proper min/max inventory levels for line side storage bins

Placing components in their proper storage locations

Conduct daily WIP counts

Update Operations and Supply chain of Schedule adherence in daily morning meeting.

Operate lift truck as required in area

Create and maintain Purchase Orders (executing MESO) with line side parts

Order literature and packing material

Problem solve root cause for missing parts

Work with MLS, Logistics Supply Chain, and Operations on corrective actions

Communicates to a cross functional team including Operations and Engineering to solve material issues

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience
* Basic computer skills including data entry and use of email

Top Candidate Must Also Have:

* Previous Supply Chain experience
* Experience in Print Reading
* Previous experience with Location Management (LMS) and Inventory Systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including (Excel, Word, and Access)
* Previous leadership positions
* Previous experience operating a lift

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to successfully drive and operate a lift including the large 50K lb lift designated for 3500/C175 engines
* May be required to lift, push, pull heavy parts multiple times per shift
* Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours
* Must be able to work overtime as needed

Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:

* Any current agency workers applying to this position must have worked the required 90 days in order to be considered as well as meeting all requirements for the position.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: 5AM - 3PM
Work Location: Corinth, MS
Starting Hourly Rate: $15.90

This is a full time position with full benefits including 401K with 6% company match.
