Job Description:
As part of the Global Test Development Group, the R&D Test Development Engineer will support Product Engineering through the automation of FEM parametric tests and characterization of prototypes in San Jose, CA. The scope of the work entails
* Develop turnkey solutions for bench or ATE per product specifications
* ATE system optimizations
* Product and component level characterization
* Product line automation technical support for on-time delivery of customer samples
* Cross-functional, multi-site team collaboration
* Program construction of debugging tools for Test Engineering
Minimum Qualifications:
* BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering and 5+ years related industry experience or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years related industry experience.
* Ability to clearly present and communicate technical issues in English
* Experience testing FEMs, PA, LNA, filters, switches or other RF front end related components
* Strong understanding of RF and Power Amplifier fundamentals
* Strong grasp of C
* Experience in programming for PXI platform ATE
* Professional experience with using bench top RF instrumentation (VST, Network Analyzers, Signal Generator, etc)
* Self-motivated, target oriented personality with a clear sense of priority and able to gain forward momentum with little to no supervision
* Familiar with LTE-3GPP specs
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications plus the following:
* 5+ years direct experience in RF Front End ATE software development using C
* Expertise in PXI platform test systems optimization
* Project leadership experience
