Simulation and Training Solutions Director
Key Role:
Use defense industry experience and relationships to drive capture of Army Simulation and Training opportunities, including shaping, proposal, contract start-up, and execution. Anticipate market needs to lead the development of transformational solutions to client problems. Define, shape, and lead proposal efforts where decisions made pertaining to contract negotiation and contractual provisions have a direct impact on profit. Serve as a senior leader of a digital simulation and training solutions team focused on driving innovation and modernization, meeting client challenges, and developing key talent. Balance architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise. Apply technology and innovation into multiple client spaces with a specific focus on modernization and transformation activities for a product line-based environment. Provide thought leadership based on industry trends and drive relevant innovations to scale the firms digital solutions and engineering capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
-15+ years of experience with leading transformational cross-discipline teams and projects
-10+ years of experience with leading simulation and training programs
-10+ years of experience with building successively larger programs, projects, and teams
-7+ years of experience with translating user requirements into delivered capabilities
-Experience with the development of new solutions, service offerings, and game-changing innovations from ideation to build to user adoption
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with leading software development, engineering, and technology transformation teams
-Experience with delivering cloud computing and open architecture solutions
-Knowledge of software development and integration architectures, including middle-tier, microservice, or web services implementations and operations
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-BS degree in Engineering, CS, or related field
