The Digital Analytics Analyst will play a key role in the success of the Ecommerce sales channel. By using cutting edge analytic tools, they will continuously look for ways to improve the conversion rates and optimize the customer journey for Optimum.com, Suddenlink.com and Alticemobile.com and the buyflows of each site.
Primary Responsibility:
As a Digital Analytics Analyst, you will support the Ecommerce Web Analytics and Digital Marketing teams' needs for reporting and analysis. The role will own all Ecommerce sites daily/weekly/monthly reporting and field a la carte requests from stakeholders throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will produce actionable analysis and recommendations that can be easily shared with team leads and executives of Product, Marketing and Sales. This role reports to the Manger of Digital Analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Mathematics/ Statistics, or related areas of study or equivalent experience
* 2+ years experience working in web analytics or related areas
* 1+ years experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics, or similar tools to produce detailed reporting and analysis
* Advanced application of Microsoft Excel
* Proficient in web analytics fundamentals and website measurement strategy
* Good knowledge of Digital Marketing activities such as SEM/SEO, remarketing/retention, targeted display, affiliates, etc.
* Good with analyzing Search Visibility, including branded and non-branded search keyword terms performance
* Experience in using search analysis tools such as google search console, search Ads 360 or similar tools to provide metrics about the effectiveness of any paid or organic search engine enhancements
* Experience in analyzing website search ranking, information users are actively looking for and list of keywords that helps acquisition
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High energy, positive attitude and an aptitude to champion projects; able to effectively present analytics data to business users
* Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while keeping superiors informed and up-to-date.
* Effectively translates data into actionable insights, strategies for site optimization and buyflow enhancement
* Good understanding of Tag Management System
* Good understanding of configuration and implementation of Analytics
* Basic understanding of web development methodologies
* Flexibility to deal with changing priorities.
Desired Skills/ Preferred Experiences:
* Experience analytics tool tagging for site changes, new site features, and initiatives to ensure data quality (Web Analytics QA)
* Ability to construct custom queries using SQL and web analytics tools to pull and automate data
* Experience in providing A/B test results analysis
* Experience in operating and maintaining ecommerce websites
* Experience in project management of website updates
* Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology and Jira system
* Experience in product management/product development roles, especially Mobile products
* Desire to research and learn new skills and technologies in Digital Analytics
* Able to design analytical solutions to address business problems
* Experience or strong interest in creating better visualization of information
