Job Description
UI/UX Designer
Precision Planting, a leading provider of precision agriculture technology, is seeking a UI/UX designer to lead the graphic and user interface design of our growing suite of on-board implement control products and off-board diagnostic tools. At Precision Planting, we focus on helping farmers across the world to be more efficient growing yields, reducing inputs, and saving time.
As a user interface and user experience designer, you will be responsible for designing the user experience for our all aspects industry-leading 20|20 platform, which consists of our in-cab display, iOS, Android, and web products. You will work directly with engineers and product managers to design complex new features in a fast-paced environment using modern design principles and technology.

What will I be doing?
Owning user interface design for a complex series of products
Authoring design documents, screen mockups, layouts, icons, and illustrations
Auditing applications to identify areas of improvement
Documenting design best practices and standards for use by the team
Working with product managers and participating on product teams to define design features
Climbing on agricultural equipment to validate and experience your designs first-hand
What must I have?
5+ years of experience in user interface design, graphic design, or a related field
Strong experience using Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Adobe Illustrator
Experience designing both iOS and Android mobile applications
Solid understanding of modern design principles
What other specific skills & experiences would be good for me to have?
Familiarity with agriculture
Knowledge of design collaboration tools such as Zeplin, Sketch Cloud, and Git
