This role will focus on helping CVS Health identify and implement strategies to realize value, specifically within our Aetna patient community, and achieve its mission of helping patients on their path to better health. As a Senior Consultant, you will work with a high-energy team that is motivated by the opportunity to drive better health outcomes for our patients and realize financial results for CVS Health. We want to uncover new medication adherence opportunities, drive down avoidable medical cost expenditure and develop innovative strategies to drive results. We will then operationalize these strategies across our ~10,000 pharmacies, ~1,000 Minute Clinic locations and other enterprise assets (e.g., CVS Caremark, specialty, Coram). Your Typical Day Here Could Include:
Meeting with internal or external subject-matter experts to learn more about the implications of a new regulation or new research findings
Brainstorming with your colleagues to build out a creative approach for a new problem
Engaging partners from across the organization to build out a new patient care program and drive results
Figuring out how to approach an analysis that requires finding/pulling data and then data manipulation/analysis and then going about conducting it
Reaching out to a pharmacy supervisor to set up a pilot test for a new idea in a set of stores
Building out an Excel model to assess the impact of a new offering on patient outcomes and CVS financials
Using data pulls, pilot analyses, and market research to build a business case for a new product proposal
Reporting out on findings and proposing key recommendations to our senior leadership team
Preparing material and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by non-subject matter experts
Setting up time to meet with colleagues to plan a team development activity or social event

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic problem solving and/or new product development (e.g. consulting)
- 1+ years of analytical experience
- 1+ years of experience in MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare space
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Experience conducting analytics using SQL, Tableau or Access
- Additional database/coding knowledge

- Bachelor's Degree
