Global Head of Strategy Evangelism & Operations COO & Strategy Org, SAP SuccessFactors

Role Description & Responsibilities

This new role is a key part of SAP SuccessFactors COO and Strategy team and will be instrumental to driving our strategy and helping us realize our 2025+ ambition to make the Cloud Human Experience Management (HXM) market and reclaim undisputed 1 leadership in Cloud HCM. The Strategy Evangelism & Operations leader and her/his team will create passion for our strategy and leadership position across our internal customers, analysts & influencers while cultivating culture of operational excellence to measure & communicate execution against that strategy. This team will focus on the following:

Strategy Evangelism

* Create & evolve a compelling strategy/winning plan narrative and deploy it in new and engaging ways across our solution area and board
* Working with Communications & Marketing, build consistent and inspiring drumbeat on our strategy, leadership position and new & evolving solutions for internal teams, analysts & influencers

Field Readiness for New Strategies

* Align with field teams on deployment of new strategies aligning vision with positioning plans, enablement requirements, commercialization decisions, etc.
* Partner with marketing, field & sales teams to drive and accelerate strategy alignment, differentiated messaging & communication
* Work with solution transition/readiness team to ensure aligned communication & feedback loops

Roadmap for Strategy Execution

* Support strategy evangelism & field readiness by creating and communicating clear & updated roadmaps aligned to the strategy/winning plan
* Collaborate with Product Area Leads to develop, maintain and regularly assess progress to portfolio & product roadmaps

Winning Plan

* Drive creation & maintenance of our Cloud HXM Winning Plan

Solution Area Operations

* Drive the definition of impactful goals, objectives & key results
* Coordinate with various Analytics & Insights teams to deliver regular reporting on performance to targets across various stakeholder teams
* Provide regular internal & external benchmark reporting
* Serve as the liaison between SAP Controlling and the People Solution area on budget planning & tracking
* Define & execute governance processes for ongoing management & oversight of People Solution Area financial & operational performance
* Build, support & track financial and headcount models for decision-making on strategic initiatives
* Identify and drive opportunities to improve cost visibility & operational efficiency (e.g. TCO)
* Manage regular + ad hoc board and leadership team content calendar

This role is a Manager role. Prior managerial experience and team development is required. This role also has very high exposure locally, regionally and globally.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proficient in English language
* 12+ years total professional experience, including business consulting and/or strategy
* Deep experience in and passion for the Cloud HXM market
* Experience leading a large-scale business transformation
* Experience with complex topics and ability to think fluently / rationalize abstract concepts
* Advanced knowledge of SAPs internal processes
* Advanced C-Level executive communication skills, written and verbal
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Solid work experience leading projects, teams or organizations
* Equally comfortable leading or contributing to teams
* MBA / graduate degree preferred but not required

Travel and work hour requirements:

* 10-35% travel
* Global travel (applicant must disclose any known geographic travel limitations)
