Job Title: Senior Developer

Location: San Ramon, CA

Purpose and Objective: Callidus Software Inc seeks a Senior Developer at our San Ramon, CA location for translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

Expectations and Tasks:

Work with UX design team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, take an active role on both side and define how the application looks as well as how it works. Develop high performance, responsive, modular and rich User Interface web/mobile applications and frameworks (AngularJS, Dojo and Sencha ExtJS). Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and End customers. Interact and coordinate with cross functional teams that include product owners, back-end developers and designers. Develop the hybrid applications, this works in all types of devices like Mobile and Desktop devices (IPhone, IPad, Android, and Windows). Breakdown the functional and business requirements into set of features and sub features and start working towards their implementation. Develop the required UI architecture and framework for the product. Assist document writers in technical documents and various use cases of the developed product for end users. Ensure quality with E2E testing with Jasmine and Karma libraries. Lead the User Interface Development team. Develop new user-facing features. Take care of performance optimization and scalability of the product. Design and develop the re-usable graphic user interface elements and components. 10% travel required. Telecommuting Permitted.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience:

* Experience must involve 4 years in the following: Front end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, ESRI JavaScript API; UI development with frameworks like Angular, NodeJS, Sencha ExtJS, D3JS, DOJO; Database/SQL, including Oracle or HANA, JVM, OS; UNIX/Linux based environments; Building Scalable and Responsive Web and cross platform applications; and Building Unit test cases with Jasmine library and Karma Test Runner. 10% travel required. Telecommuting permitted.
