PGIM Fixed Income is a global asset manager offering active solutions across all fixed income markets. The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst will be responsible for managing and further developing our internal approach to ESG integration. Currently, ESG is formally integrated into our research and investment decision making, and we are looking for an individual to enhance our process and help us stay informed as this segment of the asset management industry continues to grow. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the heads of the Credit Research, Portfolio Management, and Client Advisory groups. Additionally, the ESG Analyst will work with senior Credit Analysts across our platform to help identify and analyze pertinent ESG issues. The Analyst will also work directly with the Portfolio Managers across the sectors to help develop ESG recommendations on positioning individual credits within client portfolios. The Analyst is expected to have a strong network within our firm as well as develop a network among ESG leaders in the industry. The ESG Analyst is expected to help the firm stay on the cutting edge of market developments and competitor activity as it relates to ESG trends. The Analyst may also potentially participate in discussions with certain clients about ESG related issues as they relate to their respective portfolios.

Responsibilities:

* Tracking ESG market and credit developments and serve as the leader for our internal ESG Committee.
* Preparing internal ESG reports for existing clients such as carbon emissions, water usage, and sustainability policy.
* Interacting with the Credit Analysts to help make fundamental recommendations about ESG considerations for specific corporate bond issuers.
* Interacting with Portfolio Managers to help with portfolio positioning as it related to investments with ESG considerations
* Interacting with the Client Advisory team to create and update internal ESG Marketing material, respond to RFPs, and meet//explain our ESG policy to clients.
* Maintaining a network of external ESG experts and market participants

Requirements and Skills:

* Five years minimum experience focused on investing and ESG issues.
* Bachelors degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
* Strong familiarity with credit research concepts as well as an understanding of various credit markets such as high yield, investment grade, bank loans and municipal bonds.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
* Comfortable in public speaking.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
