Job Description Summary:
AMTS, APPLICATIONS in SAN JOSE, CA
Job Description:
Design and build evaluation boards, application boards, and bench automation test setup. Program, test and debug the evaluation boards and test setup. Conduct road tests, generate test report, and collect data for data sheets and characterization. Perform EMI tests including surge, burst and ESD to verify the robustness of the devices. Provide technical support to key customers and field applications engineers. Generate the data sheet and application notes to assist customers with designs. Work closely with product definers, design engineers, business management and customers throughout the product evaluation and product release and provide technical support.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: MUST POSSESS EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE SUFFICIENT TO ADEQUATELY PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB BEING OFFERED. EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE MAY BE GAINED THROUGH EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION. SUCH EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE CANNOT BE "QUANTIFIED" BY "TIME."
REQUIRED EXPERTISE/ KNOWLEDGE INCLUDES:
* Understanding of analog and digital system design;
* RS-485, IO-Link, Isolation, Digital or Analog I/O, and serial interfaces such as SPI and I2C;
* PCB design experience with schematic capture and layout;
* Lab testing experience using Oscilloscope, DMM, BERT, etc.
