DESCRIPTION

Amazon Pharmacy has the goal to be the most customer centric pharmacy. Maintaining broad access to payer and prescription benefit manager networks is essential to providing the best customer service.

We are looking for an adept executive who has experience contracting with healthcare payers and pharmacies. This position will be responsible for building and strengthening innovative relations with payers. They will lead negotiations with current and new payer partners.

Will hire and manage a group of payer relationship staff and will be responsible for meeting strategic objectives. Will ensure compliance with contractual obligations and act as a liaison between payers and Amazon Pharmacy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience managing PBM and payer contracts
Understanding of managed care in the pharmaceutical industry
Proven ability to successfully oversee large and complex business relationships
Experience in negotiating complex business contracts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of Medicare Part D and other government payers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytic and financial analysis acumen
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
