JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for increased sales and profit responsibility of current Industrial Distribution accounts as well as providing new opportunities within the defined territory. The Sales Representative position will also have responsibility for developing End User awareness to drive sales (60%) and calling on all account locations (40%) throughout a defined region. This person will also work the Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Team, Technical, Product Planning, and National Account teams to effectively develop and implement an Annual Growth Plan that will demonstrate a clear path for current and long term of growth of our Industrial product lines.
*Territory supports customers in Central California. Candidates must live in territory.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Business related field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required:
Prior experience in sales, customer service or operations required
Strong communication, problem solving, time management and presentation skills
Must also be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently
Preferred:
Prior sales experience and the ability to interpret financial reports
