Responsibilities

Quail Run Behavioral Health is currently seeking an additional experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our staffing team. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package including 401K with company match and offers the opportunity for generous PTO.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for providing department staffing and support for the nursing units, as well as, the Director of Nursing. Additionally, this position will work with another coordinator to support the payroll department as it pertains to nursing staff.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

1. Provide daily staffing of RN's and BHT's.
2. Process PTO requests and ensure coverage for employees taking PTO.
3. Set up interviews of nursing candidates for DON.
4. Process calls ins/absences and ensure coverage.
5. Ensure training/orientation of nursing staff is current.
6. Produce daily staffing sheets and scan along with acuity sheets and store past daily sheets.
7. Prepare daily staffing FTE report for CEO, CFO, and DON.
8. Review time sheets daily and submit to Payroll.
9. Review staffing with DON to ensure adherence to staffing Acuity and any changes that affect Acuity Provide weekly overtime, 1; 1 status, usage reports to CFO.
10. Maintain up to date and accurate nursing staff phone lists.
11. Distribute paychecks to nursing and clinical staff.
12. Handle paycheck discrepancies for nursing and clinical staff by communicating with Payroll department.
13. Maintain supply ordering for nursing department.
14. Assist nursing with clerical functions as requested.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in hospital business office and/or human resources, preferably in a health care setting; or any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office/staffing position.

Additional Requirements: Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested including being on call.
