To assemble, pick/package and ship finished parts.

Assembles, packages and ships finished parts. Puts materials and parts into the appropriate storage locations. Picks and packs parts to fill sales orders for cylinders, glands, and kits. Manages paperwork flow and picking system. Understands and facilitates Kanban inventory system accuracy. Performs daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, positioning work area and setting parameters. Utilizes various hand tools, specialty tools, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks. Performs inspection of parts to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification. Completes various types of paperwork related to production reporting. Performs the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles. Cleans equipment and work area to 5S lean principles. Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or G.E.D Previous manufacturing and assembly experience preferred Basic computer skills required Basic math skills required Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp, handle and assemble small parts. Employee will regularly be required to kneel, squat, bend at the waist and use a step ladder. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment.
