Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products is seeking applicants for the position of Financial Analyst. This role will support the NTP- North locations. The successful candidate will lead the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as, align cross-functional teams within HSS divisions to facilitate consistency. They will achieve this by: preparing period analysis of production and business performance, develop analytics that measure KPIs, analyze trending data, develop various financial models and cost reports to assist our commercial and production teams, support the HSS group as a whole in analyzing business situations, helping to formulate vision and strategies, and other special products as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in accounting
* Relevant work experience; including in-depth knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting
* Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or Master of Science in Accounting
* CPA/CMA
* Accounting experience in manufacturing environment
* Steel cost accounting/analysis experience

This segment sells its products to steel service centers, fabricators, and manufacturers in automotive, energy, agricultural, heavy equipment, and transportation sectors. The Steel Products segment offers hollow structural section steel tubing products, electrical conduits, steel joists and joist girders, steel decks, fabricated concrete reinforcing steel products, cold finished steel products, steel fasteners, metal building systems, steel grating and expanded metal products, and wire and wire mesh products to general contractors, fabricators, distributors, and manufacturers.
This segment also engages in the piling distribution business. The Raw Materials segment produces direct reduced iron (DRI); processes ferrous and nonferrous metals; brokers ferrous and nonferrous metals, pig iron, DRI, and hot briquetted iron; supplies ferro-alloys; and processes ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal, as well as engages in the natural gas drilling operations. This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
