Basic Job Functions:
The Division Administrator is primarily responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the operation of the division as it relates to taking care of our internal and external customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with purchasing activities, invoicing, answer and properly routing phone calls, act as a liaison between the operating division and the business office in Chicago, prepare bonus calculations, assist team members with any HR related questions, work with vendors for receiving, properly administrate visitors access, manage location meetings and activities, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will develop strong and trusting relationships with internal and external customers and will be the point of contact at the location for all administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associates degree or equivalent work experience
* Demonstrated experience in Excel and other MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in HR, A/P or Purchasing activities

This segment also engages in the piling distribution business. The Raw Materials segment produces direct reduced iron (DRI); processes ferrous and nonferrous metals; brokers ferrous and nonferrous metals, pig iron, DRI, and hot briquetted iron; supplies ferro-alloys; and processes ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal, as well as engages in the natural gas drilling operations. This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
The company offers its products through its in-house sales forces; and internal distribution and trading companies. The company was founded in 1940 and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
