Job Description:

The Manager, Membership Operations will be responsible for achieving operational excellence within the WSJ Professional Membership unit, working closely with all WSJ Professional Membership team members and key DJ matrix teams to help ensure that our ambitious membership team is set up for success through best-in-class tools, processes, and systems. S/he will work closely with the DJ Engineering & IT teams to improve technology, analytics and efficiency across the group.

Responsibilities:

* Support the Sr. Ops Manager by leading system implementations, migrations and enhancements for the C-Suite and Professional audiences.
* Be able to evaluate the state of the current processes, systems and KPIs, and subsequently identify and prioritize a roadmap of process improvements for the WSJ Professional Membership team.

* Operational, product and technical point of contact for key business systems and platforms inclusive of Cvent, Bizzabo, Splash, Eloqua & Salesforce.

* Go to for the marketing and sales teams on troubleshooting system issues.

* Work with the rest of the business to implement improvements, acting as the project management lead for the business and ensuring that timelines are adhered to.

* System process improvements, including reporting, dashboards and day-to-day practices.

* Work with Dow Jones IT & Engineering teams for WSJ Professional product improvements.

* Own training documentation and in-person educational sessions ensuring the team is well versed and comfortable.

* Stay up to date on the latest product updates and releases as well as the best ways to use these technologies.

* Establish reporting templates and auto generate reports, when possible to ensure that all projects are measurable and baselined. Provide transparency to key stakeholders on progress through regular provision of status reports/KPIs and ensure products and services are delivered on schedule.

* Take the initiative to identify and solve complex business problems, asking questions and owning the project from the ground up.

* Redefine business practices across the team to improve workflows, collaboration and efficiency as the business scales.

* Work closely with the Customer Experience team team to ensure that WSJ Professional journeys are documented and that journeys are optimized to facilitate improved performance.

Qualifications / Requirements:

* 3-5 years of CRM, marketing automation and event management systems experience and project management; marketing experience a plus
* An expert user on at least one industry leading CRM, marketing automation or event management system

* The technical aptitude to master new SaaS systems quickly

* Experience working with technology teams on implementation, migration of systems, new features or troubleshooting issues

* Understands how to use automation to improve productivity and optimization

* Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast paced, collaborative environment

* Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business

* Detailed oriented, with excellent written and oral communications skills

* Ability to simplify and create focus amongst a complex organization and team

* Strong leadership, diplomatic and problem solving skills

* Must be entrepreneurial and self-starter with the ability to fully own and drive projects forward.

* Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

* Strong proficiency with Google Product Suite and MS Office Suite, including Excel.

* HTML/CSS knowledge a plus

* Bachelors Degree in appropriate field of study
