Title: SW Engineering Manager, Mobile Development
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to drive mobile development delivery via agile practices, innovative software engineering, and high-performing and globally located engineering teams. This position is responsible for leading an engineering team to build iOS and Android mobile applications (including Aloha Mobile, Engage Mobile, and Pulse), for customers in the Hospitality industry.

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
* Provide leadership to a globally distributed software organization in an agile environment.
* Manage concurrent projects and engineering staff to ensure project timing is maintained.
* Ensure customer success by delivering quality solutions on schedule and within budget parameters.
* Allocate resources as necessary to ensure success for all business requirements (cost, timing, quality, etc.).
* Develop resource plans and ensure that the organization has sufficient time to react to insufficient resources.
* Groom and plan stories alongside the Product team, providing critical engineering insight into approach, and cost/benefit.
* Ensure agile plans are followed and maintained on a monthly basis.
* Build and maintain productive relationships within a matrixed organization.
* Use strong engineering decisioning to ensure a properly developed solution.
* Building best of breed engineering practices from development, automation, and continuous release management.
* Handle and prioritize customer escalations alongside new feature development.
* Serve as a professional example for others to follow.
* Define and track KPIs for the team.
* Objectively evaluate team performance and develop resources.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of experience managing global software engineering teams of 10-20 people
* 5+ years of experience in Agile environment
* Proven software engineering experience with both breadth and depth, including different programming languages, APIs, and databases
* Experience using AWS, GCP, or Azure
* Experience with Java, Objective C, Swift, Kotlin, and / or Xamarin
* Established expertise with mobile developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store
* Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
* Very strong people management and mentoring skills
* A passion for resolving complicated problems
