Overall responsibility for all business development activities across the region including interaction with sales/project delivery team and where relevant responsible for individual sales target achievement. Maximising relationships and revenue with existing customers. Develop and implement action plans, maximise sales opportunities and demonstrate commitment to surpass internal and external customers expectations. Your existing technical understanding of composites will act as a foundation to you developing critical product, market and regulatory knowledge in line with the overall MOS market strategies. Crucial to this role will be your ability to determine our customer needs in order to align our value proposition with current and future expectations.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop action plan for allocated key accounts to include targets, structure, framework opportunities, global specs, key locations, key contacts etc
* Identifying & development of new business opportunities, including lead generation, new markets, qualifying the needs of potential customers
* Align FGS MOS strategy with current and future business strategies of existing and new customers
* Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers whilst maximising and realising increase in revenue potential
* Provide leadership and engagement with sales/project delivery team for seamless interaction between BD and sales phases and manage a continuous feedback loop with sales to deliver improved customer satisfaction.
* Full understanding of existing competitive technology and market pressures, identifying areas for product development ensuring NOV is at the forefront of the market
* Providing regular market intelligence and forecast information
* Understand and communicate our customers buying patterns, providing reactive and proactive customer support with clear, defined and documented follow up plan
* Monitor customer issues, feedback, deadlines and deliverables and ensure customer issues are handled effectively and quickly
* Work effectively with other NOV groups within Completions and Production Solutions
* Customer visits, client office-based support and intercompany travel throughout area as and when required
* Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
