Education Requirement: MS/BS + 3y experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

As NAND Cell Reliability Data Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work with the most advanced NAND technologies.

The usage of enhanced data-driven techniques is a critical milestone to achieve a deeper and faster analysis of signals collected on a large scale.

Youll be part of a cross-functional team of highly skilled data scientists and reliability engineers and your responsibilities will include maintaining, optimizing and developing tools and techniques and automation solutions for data analysis to support the development of each new NAND technology node and identify possible reliability issues.

Skills of a successful candidate:

* A background in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. A background in Semiconductors and Device Physics is preferred.
* Proficient programming skills with Python, R and Java.
* Experience with SciPy, SAS-JMP or other scientific data analysis platforms is desirable.
* Knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
* Experience working with large databases, SQL, Tableau, Hadoop and Big Data.
* Strong knowledge of Machine Learning techniques.
* Experience with user interface design and implementation of web-based tools.
* Familiar with server setup, hardware analysis, and performance tuning.
* Ability in troubleshooting highly complex problems by applying creative solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, including presentation and data summary abilities.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Developing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions for data analysis, including automation.
* Creating methods to visualize and correlate a large volume of data.
* Preparing documentation describing how the solutions operate.
* Training other team members to use the developed solutions.
* Collecting, organizing, and preparing data for analysis.
* Contributing to data mining, data analysis and report preparation.
* Acquiring knowledge and understanding of the data sources.
* Collaborating well in a cross-functional team environment, but also being capable of working individually and self-paced.
* Communicating timely status and results of the activity to peers and managers.
