Endless Pools manufactures innovative specialty pools and accessories. The Planning, Systems and Inventory Technician primarily assists Operations management with planning, inventory control, systems, purchasing and production communication.
What Youll Do
* Perform various activities to ensure accurate perpetual inventories.
* Schedule and process shipments of specific product lines.
* Learn and help implement scheduling systems and routines.
* Collect, review, and report operations data as needed.
* Create labels for products.
* Administer inter-company transfer shipments.
* Assist Operations management with a variety of projects and assignments.
* Perform part, BOM, and script creation as needed in SQL.
* Prompt material transfers between our multiple locations.
* Take part in initiatives to improve warehousing of materials.
Qualifications
* High School Degree or equivalent required. 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
* Solid skills using a computer, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work with spreadsheets, word documents, email, etc.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately read reports.
* Math skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
* Reasoning & critical thinking: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to diagnose root causes of issues like inventory discrepancies, scheduling system discrepancies, etc.
* Forklift certified is preferred.
