Focus, Scope, & Impact:
* Manufacturing and process engineering expert (SME) in one or multiple areas of focus in beverage industry include warehousing, logistics and distribution network.
* Define and establish the best in class manufacturing and process technologies in the assigned clusters, such as bottling production processes, warehouse automation, or digitized distribution and fleet management, etc.
* Recommend and drive implementation for future state processes, approaches, manufacturing, logistics, distribution equipment and technology capabilities
* Develop and own the execution of strategic manufacturing and process technology roadmap for assigned clusters. Drive continuous productivity improvement and overall COGS reduction for the KO system by implementing such roadmap.
* Leverage 3rd party or external expertise to develop disruptive manufacturing and process technology for better competitive advantage for KO system.
* Partner with R&D and Innovation to provide governance on manufacturing and process technology selection for new product launch.
* Provide guidance and develop the mechanism to corporate and OU based benchmarking and continuous improvement team to successfully deploy the newly developed manufacturing and process technologies throughout the KO system.
* Understand gaps in supply chain capabilities for current and future category requirements to develop solutions/options in partnership with other Function and OU/Country Technical Leaders
* Owns the functional strategy for assigned clusters; considered an expert both internally and externally; leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives; operates with no supervision in a complex environment.
* 3+ year new manufacturing and process technology pipelines for assigned clusters to deliver growth, continuity, capabilities and productivity objectives
Scope and Impact
* This role is Global in scope as it will impact all OUs and Company owned and bottler Supply Chain operations
* The impact of this role is at the enterprise level as it will lead Global or System initiatives
* The role will interact with bottler Supply Chain leads as well as OU Supply Chain leads
KeY SUCCESS PARAMETERS
Experience
* 7 - 10 years of supply chain experience with focus on manufacturing process technology development and continuous improvement in beverage industry, includes production, warehousing, and transportation.
* Advanced project management ability to lead high profile projects that involve cross functional teams, includes internal and external partners.
* Requires ability to interact and influence senior TI&SC and bottler Supply Chain leaders.
* Deep demonstrated experience and application of formal process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
* Requires deep understanding on technical data processes, key drivers, and system knowledge.
* Strong understanding, agility, and learning focus for data analytics and visualization
* Comprehensive understanding of newest technology development and its application across a given industry.
* Any previous experience in bottling supply chain and manufacturing management will be highly preferable.
Communication Focus
* Works closely with OU Supply Chain Leaders, SC Category Leads, SC Strategy Leads and R&D/Innovation Category Leads and TI&SC leaders.
* Engage directly with groups of Bottler Supply Chain leaders and SMEs to review and discuss complex analytics and insights
